Sunderland Hospital chooses Medisec for timely discharge

With deadlines and targets in mind, City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, has asked Medisec to extend the services already in place at the Trust with electronic discharge software that allows GPs to get critical clinical information from the hospital overnight.

With an eye on ensuring the national 24 hour discharge targets are met in the most efficient way possible, the Trust will be trialling Medisec e-discharge. The system automatically generates discharge notes which are issued to GP practices across the Trust area.
