Cross-border comms development for MedisecTRUST

A pilot scheme is underway that will deliver clinical correspondence from East Cheshire’s hospitals in Macclesfield, Knutsford and Congleton to GPs in North Staffordshire and Stoke. In a similar vein, University Hospital of North Staffordshire (UHNS) correspondences are now being delivered to GPs in Cheshire.

East Cheshire NHS Trust and UHNS are both using MedisecTRUST for clinical correspondence delivery to cut admin and delivery times and improve patient care.

“This latest development is the starting point in hub-to-hub exchanges and marks a significant step in the continuing drive for paperless communications between hospitals and GPs,” added Tom Rothwell, Managing Director of Medisec Software.
