Day case short discharge form development

Medisec Software has produced a new, shortened version of their standard discharge form for the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust.

The shortened version of the discharge form was developed following the standardisation of discharge content across the Trust. Following consultation with clinicians and ward staff, Medisec were tasked to produce the shorter form specifically for day case patients.

Tom Rothwell, Managing Director of Medisec Software said: “By working with the Trust on the content for standardised discharge forms, we were able to strip out content that was unnecessary for day case patients. This has led to a real reduction in time wasted on the ward.”
