Medisec integrates with PCTI EDT Hub for GP clinical updates

North Merseyside Health Informatics Service use EDT Hub as one of their preferred delivery methods into GP Practices; Medisec Software has now added this service to its MedisecTRUST Clinical Correspondence solution. Letters from Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals NHS Trust will be used to test the process.

St Marks Medical Centre in Sefton is to pilot the service – an alternative for practices using PCTI’s Docman document management system that are not able to use Healthcare Gateway’s Medical Interoperability Gateway (MIG) platform.

Following the pilot, the solution is set to be rolled out to other practices across North Merseyside.
