Apprentice boosts Medisec’s development team

Medisec Software has boosted its software development team with the appointment of Cheshire apprentice Alex Gidge.

The budding IT professional, who hails from Tarporley, joins the company on a 12 month, government-backed, apprenticeship programmed which aims to develop his skills and knowledge base.

Alex has already undertaken an initial residential training course and is now being personally mentored to identify his ongoing training needs and provide him with opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience.

“Apprenticeships can give young people a positive step on the career ladder in what is a difficult economic climate,” said Tom Rothwell, Medisec Software’s Managing Director. “We are confident Alex will become a valuable asset to the company.”
